L’accostamento organico di quanto è stato prodotto dalla riforma liturgica promossa dal Vaticano II implica la recensione dei contenuti di un grande lavoro che si è concentrato sull’elaborazione dei libri liturgici. L’autore ne presenta le coordinate essenziali sia a livello di editio typica sia attraverso l’esemplificazione di una Chiesa locale, quella italiana. Il quadro che ne emerge è quanto mai ampio e ancora in progress non solo per eventuali traduzioni ancora da realizzare ma soprattutto per il cammino di rinnovamento teologico e pastorale che ne deriva, al fine di continuare a realizzare forme di culto che permettano al fedele di celebrare la fede in Spirito e verità.

The combination of what has been so far produced by the liturgical reform promoted by the second Vatican implies the review of fruits of the work that has been concentrated on the elaboration of the liturgical books. The a presents some of the basic co-ordinations both at the level of editio typica and through the exemplification of local Church, that of the Italian one. The picture that emerges is huge and still in progress, not only because of the translation that has to be completed or revised but also for the theological and pastoral renewal that is derived, for the purpose of realising forms of worship which allow the faithful to celebrate in truth.

 

Nel contesto culturale odierno la valorizzazione del libro liturgico in tutti i suoi aspetti rappresenta la risposta orante della comunità cristiana per aiutare l’uomo dei nostri giorni a ritrovare sempre più se stesso per costruire la propria esistenza in verità e autenticità. L’approccio con questo taglio al RICA può rappresentare il metodo per offrire alcuni spunti per rendere vivo il libro liturgico nella celebrazione delle comunità cristiane e stimolarle in tal modo a essere sempre più segno profetico di novità di vita per ogni fratello alla ricerca continua del significato della propria storia.

In today’s cultural context the use of the liturgical book in all its aspects represents the response of prayer of the christian community in order to help the human-person of our times so that he/she may always regain himself in order to construct his/her won existence in truth and authenticity. The approach with such a cut to RICA can represent the method to offer some points to render the liturgical book vivid in the celebration of the christian community and to stimulate in such a way so as to be always a more prophetic sign of newness and life to every brother/sister who is in a continuous search for meaning of his/her own life story.

 

Lo studio sul Calendarium Romanum ne è insieme una presentazione, un’attualizzazione, un esame critico di certi suoi limiti e di certe variazioni intervenute a suo riguardo, e infine un invito a riprenderlo in mano nella sua interezza, compreso il Commentarius non ufficiale, per applicarne lo spirito anche nei Calendari o Ordines che si pubblicano per aiutare l’ordinata vita della Chiesa in preghiera.

The study on the Calendarium Romanum is at the same time a presentation, a realisation, a critical examination of its certain setbacks and of different variations and updates made in its merit. Finally it is an invitation to take it in its entirety. In this in-depth work the study of Commentarius should not be ignored: even if non official, its knowledge is precious for applying the spirit also in the calendars or Ordines which are published in order to help the disciplined life of the community in prayer both at the levels of local churches and religious families.

 

Il primo e più frequente incontro tra la parola di Dio e il fedele passa attraverso il Lezionario. Vari sono i Lezionari nel rito romano. L’autore ne percorre gli ambiti tratteggiando a grandi linee la potenzialità in essi racchiusa e richiamando l’importanza della liturgia della Parola sia nelle celebrazioni sacramentali sia in tutte quelle azioni liturgiche in cui la Parola costituisce il fondamento.

The first and more frequent meeting between the word of God and the faithful happens through the Lectionary. There are different Lectionaries in the roman rite. The a covers the areas describing in broad terms the potential enclosed in them and recalling the importance of the liturgy both in the sacramental celebrations and in all those liturgical actions in which the Word constitutes the foundation.

 

Il Messale Romano, principale monumento della riforma liturgica voluta dal Vaticano II, promulgato nel 1970, ha avuto tre edizioni, di cui l’ultima nel 2002. L’edizione italiana attualmente in vigore è la seconda, pubblicata nel 1983. Di essa lo studio presenta la struttura e le possibilità che offre, sottolineandone il grande valore teologico, catechetico, spirituale e pastorale.

The Roman Missal, main monument of the liturgical reform wanted by the Vatican II, promulgated in the year 1970, has had three editions, of which the recent one was in 2002. The Italian edition currently in use is the second one, published in 1983. About this the study presents the structure and possibilities offered, underlining the theological, catechetical, spiritual and pastoral values.

 

Lo studio propone una sintesi sulla storia, significato e valore della Liturgia delle ore, fornendo alcuni dati essenziali per la comprendere il senso della preghiera della Chiesa, che nel corso dei secoli ha avuto un suo percorso fino ad approdare alla riforma del Vaticano II. La conoscenza piena di questo libro liturgico esige l’acquisizione di quanto contenuto nell’ampia premessa, base per comprendere il senso e il valore della preghiera cristiana.

The study offers a synthesis regarding the history, meaning and value of the Liturgy of the hours, giving some essential data for understanding the sense of the prayer of the Church which, over the years, has had its own way till the reform of the Vatican II. The full knowledge of this liturgical book demands the acquisition of what has been contained in the long introduction, which is basic for the understanding of the meaning and the value of christian prayer.

 

La presentazione ermeneutica dei libri liturgici che costituiscono l’attuale Pontificale si avvale delle Premesse agli stessi rituali, secondo la prospettiva mistagogica conciliare, che si accosta a essi per ritus et preces. L’ulteriore disamina del Caeremoniale Episcoporum aiuta a tracciare le linee essenziali delle più importanti celebrazioni della Chiesa attuale, presiedute dal vescovo.

The hermeneutic presentation of liturgical books which constitute the current Pontificale makes use of the Premesse to the same rituals, according to the mystegogical perspective of the council, that uses them per ritus et preces. The further close examination of the Caeremoniale Episcoporum helps to describe the fundamental ways of the more important celebrations of the present Church, presided over by the bishop.

 

La nota ha lo scopo di offrire una panoramica dei libri liturgici, riformati a norma del concilio Vaticano II, pubblicati a più riprese e accomunati dalla medesima categoria: Rituale Romanum. Non si intende presentare in modo esaustivo ogni singolo rituale, ma indicarne gli elementi fondamentali per l’individuazione della struttura e dei contenuti peculiari di ciascuno, a cominciare dalle loro premesse.

The note has the scope of offering a global view of the liturgical books, reformed according to the norm of the ecumenical council of Vatican II, published many times and grouped by the same category: Rituale Romanum. It is not intended to present every single ritual in an exhaustive way, but to indicate the fundamental aspects for spotting the structure and peculiar contents of each one, starting with their introduction.

 

L’ultimo libro della riforma del Vaticano II è destinato a una rinnovata «animazione» della santità nella Chiesa, quale appare dall’esemplarità di fratelli e sorelle che hanno vissuto il vangelo in pienezza. La sua conoscenza implica un confronto a livello storico, teologico, pastorale, ecclesiale e spirituale, mentre il suo uso s’intreccia in modo armonico con il Messale, il Lezionario e la Liturgia delle ore.

The last book reformed by the Vatican II is destined to a renewed «animation» of sanctity in the Church, which is evident from the exemplary life of brothers and sisters who lived the gospel fully. Its knowledge implies a dialogue at historical, theological, pastoral, ecclesial and spiritual levels, while its use is done in an harmonious way with the Missal, the Lectionary and the Liturgy of the hours.

Le celebrazioni concernenti l’elezione, l’inizio del ministero e le esequie del Romano Pontefice richiedono una ritualità specifica: al riguardo esistono tre Ordines, editi dall’Ufficio delle Celebrazioni liturgiche del Sommo Pontefice. Anche i recenti anni santi (1975 e 2000) e l’anno mariano (1987-1988) hanno conosciuto peculiari ritualità. L’autore riporta indicazioni in proposito, riferendo sia di veri e propri libri liturgici che di pubblicazioni e sussidi.

The celebrations like the election, the beginning of ministry and the funeral rites of the Roman Pontiff, require a special ritual: in this connection three are three Ordines, done by the Office of the liturgical celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff. Also the recent holy years (1975 e 2000) and the marian year (1987-1988) have known special rituals. The auctor carries indications in this regard, making references not only to the real and proper liturgical books but also to other published ones and aid-materials.

Vengono presentati e analizzati otto libri o sussidi «propri» o «appropriati», elaborati dalla e per la Chiesa italiana. Si tratta di: La messa dei fanciulli, Lezionario per la messa dei fanciulli, Orazionale per la preghiera dei fedeli, La famiglia in preghiera, Proclamiamo la tua risurrezione e, come assimilabili, di: Messale Romano 1983, Benedizionale, Rito del Matrimonio. Di ciascuno viene illustrato e motivato tale carattere di «proprio» o «appropriato», richiamando l’interesse di operatori, cultori o docenti di liturgia, in vista di una riscoperta e di un rinnovato utilizzo.

There are eight books or «proper» or «appropriate» help-materials that are presented and analysed, which are worked out by and for the italian Church. It is about: The mass for children, Lectionary for the children’s mass, Prayers for the prayer of the faithful, The family in prayer, Let us proclaim your resurrection and, understandably, the Roman Missal 1983, Benediction, Marriage Rite. Each of this is illustrated and motivated with the phrase saying «proper» or «appropriate», thus recalling the interest of pastoral workers or teachers of liturgy, in view of a re-discovery and a renewed use.

Nonostante sia spesso una verità dimenticata, la qualità sacrificale della preghiera appartiene allo specifico cristiano fin dalle sue origini. Lo studio esamina il rapporto tra lode e confessione nella todah per giungere al significato assunto dal sacrificio di lode nel processo di spiritualizzazione dei sacrifici. Il sacrificium laudis fa parte a pieno titolo della lex orandi delle Chiese d’Oriente e d’Occidente, e in tal modo si afferma come elemento maggiore della comprensione cristiana della preghiera in tutte le sue forme e, in modo decisivo sebbene se non esclusivo, anche all’Eucaristia.

Despite often be a forgotten truth, the sacrificial quality of the prayer belongs to the christian specific from the beginning of its origins. This study examines the rapport between praise and confession in the todah to arrive at the meaning assumed from the sacrifice of praise in the process of spiritualization of the sacrifices. The sacrificium laudis, with the full title, is part of the lex orandi of the eastern and western Churches, and in this way it is affirmed as major element of the christian understanding in all its forms and, in a decisive way even though if not exclusive, also at the Eucharist.

A completamento di un percorso che ha presentato l’insieme della riforma liturgica del Vaticano II attraverso l’espressione dei libri liturgici, l’autore passa in rassegna i libri liturgici della riforma tridentina per segnalare le edizioni che oggi permettono uno studio diretto di quanto è stato operato dal sec. XVI fino alla Sacrosanctum concilium.

On completion of a itinerary which presented the wide-ranging liturgical reform of the Vatican II through the expression of the liturgical books, the auctor gives a review of the liturgical books of the tridentine reform in order to mark the editions that will facilitate a direct study of all what has been done from the XVI centaury to the Sacrosanctum concilium.
